Artego Color Gel, silver

My Color Reflex by the Italian company Artego is a gel sustaining color of dyed hair which also gives the silver effect to bleached hair. Apart from coloring it is also a hair care agent, so you don’t have to worry about your hair’s condition. When we want to sustain your Scandinavian cool blond, we often use violet or silver rinses. Such as the ones that are dissolved in water. Unfortunately, when they are used too frequently, hair becomes dried up. This is why the Artego gel is a good solution.

It is applied on washed, slightly wet hair and left for 5-15 minutes. After 5 minutes the effect is going to be very subtle, almost invisible. It is better then to keep it for 10 to 15 minutes. Don’t be afraid – you won’t be left with blue hair! Everything rinses well and the agent doesn’t stain your scalp. It’s been proven!

The pigments adhere to the hair during the application, partially penetrating under hairs’ scales. The color washes off gradually and in a uniform way during 6 to 8 washing sessions. In case of blondes, the process is faster.

What’s important – the gel contains neither ammonia nor oxidative ingredients. So it is a good solution if you want to restore some more intense shade to your hair, but you wish not to ruin it with too frequent dyeing.

It costs about 13 $. It is available in online shops and hairdresser warehouses.

The product’s ingredients: aqua, propylene glycol, laureth-10, laureth-2, peg-2 cocoamine, oleyl alcohol, ceteareth-50, peg-200 hydrogenated glyceryl palmate, peg-7 glyceryl cocoate, sodium laureth sulfate, silicone quaternium-22, creatine, polyquaternium-67, parfum, dmdm hydantoin, CI 60730, hydroxycitronellal, benzyl salicylate, citronellol, alpha-isomethyl ionone, geraniol, hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyde, linalool.
